Manor House Hotel & Ashbury Golf Course

The Manor House and Ashbury Hotels are sister hotels located in the foothills of Dartmoor National Park and offer the ideal destination for a bowling break. They are the most facilitated sport & leisure hotels in the South West and arguably have the highest level of bowling facilities of any hotels.

The Manor House has 10 indoor rinks all laid with Greengauge carpet and 7 outdoor rinks. The Ashbury also has 3 indoor rinks - all are available FREE OF CHARGE. If you are a group our bowls co-ordinator will help pre-book all the bowling that you require and will also help to arrange any matches – either against other residents at the hotels or local bowling clubs. Our staff can also help with the running of your competitions.

Additional facilities include a Craft Centre with up to 15 tutored crafts, including pottery (wheelwork, slipcasting & hand building), enamelling, glass engraving and picture framing amongst others - All tutoring is free of charge, you only pay for the materials used.

Our extensive range of sports facilities include indoor and outdoor tennis, badminton and golf – free of charge. Leisure facilities include indoor swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms and spa bath – free of charge. There are also a range of beauty treatments & sports massages available.

Other activities available include snooker, curling, air pistols/rifles & archery – all free of charge.

The Hotels offer fantastic value with all breaks being full board and extra discounts are available for groups of 8 or more.
