Caldecott Park Bowling Club are hosting an open day on Sunday May 13th between 11am and 4pm. Members of the public of all ages are welcome to have a go at the sport, perhaps interested after seeing the recent footage on TV from the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
It’s a great chance for newcomers to learn about the game and get to grips with some bowls and learn more about the club itself. All equipment and with light refreshment provided, members of the club will also be on hand to help advise newcomers and teach them some of the basics of the game.
Just turn up in a pair of flat shoes and some comfortable, suitable clothing (for example ladies) to get onto the green and you’ll be able set for what promises to be a fun day of learning and getting to grips with bowls.
